Homo sapien [Human] Fanconi Anemia Complementation Group L Accession: NM_001114636.1
The FANCL gene encodes the FANCL E3 ubiquitin ligase protein that is a part of the Fanconi Anemia core complex. In humans, the FANCL gene is located on the short arm of the second chromosome at position 16.1. The gene is comprised of 1,753 base pairs over fourteen total exons that encode a protein that is 380 amino acids long. Alternative splicing results in two different transcript variants that encode two different isoforms, the first of which was used throughout this website for gene and protein analysis.
